B90 Week 4 or "Vacation Is Killing Me"

We're still in Texas, "vacationing" or as I like to call it, running crazy with children! Yesterday we went to Glen Rose to the Dinosaur Tracks State Park. Unfortunately, the Creation Evidence Museum wasn't open, so we only got the "millions of years ago" view of everything, but the dinosaur tracks were pretty impressive. More on that later.

One of the great things about the trip is that my sister drove the entire way, so I spent a good majority of the time reading and catching up! I was one complete week behind and now I'm only three days behind! I did manage to read part of that late night before last (as in I stayed up til 3 after waking up from getting the boys to sleep!)

If you're reading, have you checked in with Amy at Mom's Toolbox? There's a great encouraging post over there from Kari who read the Bible in 66 days! Check it out, and if you want to start reading with us, it's not too late!!

  1. Wow! Great job making up four days of reading on your drive. :D

That museum sounds pretty cool. Too bad it wasn't open during your visit.

  2. Yay! It sounds to me like you actually did pretty well. Reading on vacation is definitely more challenging!
Keep it up! And thank you SO much for serving as a mentor. :)

  3. Thanks so much for stopping by my blog and leaving such a great comment, how cool that the verses lined up! I wanted to let you know that I was a B90Days participant the first time around and you can do it!! It was difficult, and I didn't finish on time, but I finished. I cried when I finished because it was such a beautifully spiritual thing. It took me over 200 days, but I did it and it felt so good!!
